Dr Karin von Hippel is Director-General of the Royal United Services Institute. She has spent most of her career working on issues related to conflict, whether for the United Nations in places such as Somalia and Kosovo, or for think tanks in the US and the UK, as well as for the US Government during the Obama Administration. She is excited to work with other Trustees and staff at the NAT to help broaden the reach of and interest in the archives
